Upon clearing out the rebel defects that destroyed Etherin (the player character's town) - Hecate discovers a dying child (the player character) and approaches Diana for assistance. 
(desperate) Diana! This child has survived, but they are near death.

Both of Hecate's arms has just been broken by a rampaging Minotaur. She has been saved by Diana and is directing her to the hideout of the remaining slavers.
(in excruciating pain and out of breath) The bandits ransacked the village that took in the child. I successfully fended them off, but... they ambushed me on my way back to the guild. The bastards took me an' a few stragglers prisoner.

Hecate just watched as Diana mercilessly killed a colony of slavers in cold blood.
