yumeparadox for Hanekawa Tsubasa
Hanekawa's character in this series is interesting as she has three different potential voices we've seen so far.
Line 1:
With the first line, she should sound exasperated, like she just doesn't care about something anymore. She sounds like this in the original, and whilst I'm not expecting Yui Horie, I just want to point out she sounds soft-spoken here, which is what we're aiming for.
Line 2:
The next line shows Hanekawa in her transformed state, or 'Black Hanekawa'. A much more aggressive personality without going into too much detail, and in the original, adds 'Nya' to a lot of her words, as like in this video. I'm going to try and keep those Nya's in, even though it's a uniquely Japanese quirk. But for the purposes of this audition, the Nya's will be left out, we just need to retain her slightly harsher voice compared to the normal Hanekawa.
Line 3:
This last line shows Hanekawa when she was six years old, as per this video. Her pitch will be higher and for the purposes of the line, she needs to sound prideful and slightly aggressive.
"You really want to see the world burn, don't you?"
"You're underestimating me. I might not know everything, unlike my master, but I have kept her other weapons. The ones you've been staring at for quite some time now."
"Fear me, for I am cute and pocket-sized!"
Hello and thanks for the audition! I liked your audition, and I feel you have a strong set of vocals, which will be an asset in times of scenes that require strong emotions and the like. For the part of Hanekawa, I feel like the image I have of her requires a softer tone with a higher pitch. With line number 2 of your audition, I felt that you were close to achieving that level of softness/pitch which would work for Hanekawa at her normal age, but would also mean that you would have to go even higher at her six year old age. Whilst I can't cast you as Hanekawa at this stage, I would be interested in using your vocal talents for other parts I have planned in the future if that is okay?
