Rock-Lock acts similarly to how he is in the series but around the events in the story that he's first introduced, He made the mistake of doing a commercial for erectile dysfunction pills. He did this because he was desperate for money.
After the commercial first aired, he unknowingly became a meme overnight with people jokingly calling him “Rock-Cock” instead of "Rock-Lock." It gets to a point where Pro-Heroes & UA students begin mistaking the two names & Rock-Lock gets so fed up with the whole sharad that he threatens to kick anyone ass who calls him "Rock-Cock." This will be his character during the Shie Hassaikai Arc but in season 5 & onward he will get a total character swap.

(Rock lock explaining why he did the commercial to Fatgum) “Hey man I was desperate for money alright? I barely make any money doing this superhero thing as it is. I mean for God's sakes my superpower is that I freeze objects in place. You have any idea what it's like for me to take down five guys at once? What am I going to do? Weld there shoes to the ground and wait for the cops to pick um up? Hell most of the time the bad guys get their asses whopped by the time I get to the crime scene.”
