Amelia is an 13 year old orphan whos been put through the ringer since she was little. you'd never be able to tell it with how she carries herself though. since she was young and aware of her surroundings all she wanted was to learn everything that the world had to offer. she would drive her parents mad with the questions she had. even when they had fallen ill she wondered why?
when they had passed and she became an orphan, the closest thing she had to a stable home was either the library or the archive. day in and day out she would have her head stuck in any book that she could get her hands on. almanacs, dictionaries, fantasy, etc... this left little time for friend-making, but she was fine as long as she had her books.
she was soon roped into a group of orphans and beggars, if not to try to make friends at least to fill the space around her. that was until she met Deluke. a man who made things seem more colorful and interesting.
