The anubis captures them and is very angry with all humans because they feel that dog's should be the rules, and that they are superior in every way. He gets very frustrated because he tries to show the girl that Haru is going to be smarter than her, and gets annoyed when Haru doesn't quite live up to his expectations. 

I picture his voice being more noble and dignified sounding with an air of superiority, talking down to humans but greatly respecting canines.
