Hey, CaptainTimmer! You have an almost melodic voice that I think suits the character really well! Although I could hear you and your audio was mostly clear, it does sound like maybe there's either background noise or an echo-y quality to it that might be able to be removed with noise reduction software. unfortunately, your level of room noise and reverb would no be removable without excessively damaging your audio. Look into techniques to dampen sound like that, such as making a booth with heavy blankets, or even making a small blanket fort around your mic.
Audacity is my go-to because it's free and does everything I need it to! But I think SovereignElise also raises a valid point in trying to use physical techniques while recording to help as well. I feel like there are probably tutorials on YT for how to set up an affordable sound dampening space, but I can't think of any of the top of my head at the moment. ^^;
