Squid Baron is a Warp Squid who happens to be one of the dreaded Barons of Sequin Land. He is known to be greedy, rude and dishonest, though is ultimately not a malicious figure and only fights to protect his family and property. Despite that, he still does not hesitate in using his children as weapons during his fight against Shantae. For some odd reason, Shantae seems to gain the same fourth-wall barrier awareness whenever she talks to him, making Squid Baron a sort of fourth-wall nullifier. He also dreams of becoming an icon like his purple haired warrior maiden rival, and wants to have a video game that stars him someday, by becoming an avid video game developer himself! In this game, he once again tries to assert himself in Shantae's path to show ideas of his upcoming video game.
