  • Well, some people actually get energy from being around other people. Maybe Bodie is one of those people. I feel like I’m a content middle ground. Being around people can be fun in small doses, but I also like having the time to focus on myself and my own projects.

  • Do you mind if I work on my agenda for the upcoming community meeting? I haven’t had a chance to, and I completely forgot before we left for the party.

  • ...What about Beau? [Sigh] Sorry, I’m trying not to be like this. He just really pisses me off. I tried to be patient with him and give him time and space to grow, but he chose to hide in his castle with his rich prick friends and close himself off from everyone else. He’s only been here a little longer than I have - and by that, I mean, like, a few weeks - but he hasn’t participated in the community at all. Do you know what his job is? Stocks. Stocks in the human-dominated realm. That doesn’t benefit this community, it only benefits him and his expenditures in that space. Ugh. I just. Everyone works so hard and watching him blatantly walk all over everyone is just really upsetting for me.

I don’t really want to keep talking about him. Sorry, it’s just a lot for me right now.

Hey, Luna! Thank you so much for auditioning! I enjoyed hearing your characterization and emotion in the line reading. =) It sounded like some of the lines may have been giving you a bit of trouble - which I completely understand! These were pretty lengthy reading options, so I think stumbling over words is inevitable. Something I've suggested to another person was taking your time reading the lines and pausing for as long as you need to so you don't read them too fast or with a lot of nervousness, and even repeating lines or words until you are happy with the end result. It's something I personally do when I'm recording, and it's helped me when I'm able to pause and take my time reading, and then going back and editing out the silence or parts where I said a word repeatedly until I felt like I had gotten it down - or where I had tried my best to, lol. Again, thank you very much for auditioning! I really appreciate your time and effort, and I'll keep you updated as the project develops. =)

Yeah. I get that. ^^ I sometimes have problems speaking, and I do take time to slow myself down.. lol I just sometimes feel like I have to rush to finish because people in my family can be really loud. But that can happen. Bai!

Ah, I totally get that. Yeah, surrounding sounds can definitely cause more stress when performing. I used to stay up ridiculous hours to be alone at night so I could do recordings - but, uh, that's not very healthy so don't do that, lol. xD I hope you are able to find time where you feel comfortable performing without outside noises for your auditions. ^^
