Hey, friends! How are you doing? Enjoying the party?
Haha, I totally get that. That sounds rad.
[Stressed] Oh, hey, do you think you would be interested in hanging out with Beau, too?
He’s kind of, uh…
...He’s, you know. Haha. Being Beau.
[Excited] Perfect! Everyone’s all together!
Are you ready to set up for the murder mystery?
Hey, GSTG! Your audio is really clean, but the volume is a bit low. I can still hear your lines well, though, so overall good quality! I really like hearing your delivery, it gives Bodie a kind of "cool guy" vibe I hadn't considered, like a suave delivery as opposed to a highly energetic delivery - which I could definitely see them embodying as well. Very interesting! That even helped in the final line. I generally consider Bodie to be very loud and energetic when excited about the murder mystery, but your reading gave me the perspective of seeing them as non-chalantly trying to play cool with their excitement. Definitely something I'm going to consider moving forward. Thank you so much for your audition! I'll keep you updated as the project develops. =)
Thanks for taking the time to give a detailed response Ashton! I'm glad you seem to have gotten something out of my audition. For the volume issues, I have some background noise in the room I'm using so I'm currently recording with a much lower gain until I can resolve them. Good luck on the project!
Of course! I feel like offering my perspective on what I hear is the least I can do for all the time and energy everyone puts into their submissions. I'm personally not faulting anyone for the technical aspects of their auditions - mostly just pointing those out in case it would be helpful for people to know. I think working with a lower gain is a good temporary work around! I actually didn't realize I could improve my audio by messing with the gain settings on my Yeti Pro until recently, and it was a HUGE game changer, lol. Thank you for the well wishes, and good luck on your projects as well! =)
