(Tulip is walking down the hallway, talking to friends) Guys, I know I’ve said this maybe a thousand times this week...But I’m genuinely sad to be back at school. Why was Spring Break literally two seconds long?
(Inside head talking to herself) My worst fear is that one day, I’ll screw up so bad that my friends will wise up and realize what a burden I am. I feel like at any moment, I could hurt someone, accidentally or otherwise, and it would be my life sentence. Every mistake I make could be the last straw.
(Talking to Jamie, kinda letting her anxiety take over) It’s my fault honestly, because I somehow thought that because I aced middle school bio I would be fine. That might’ve been the dumbest thought I’ve ever had. And don’t even get me started on math. I...I can’t fail these exams. My university only accepted me on the condition that I graduate with good grades. If I don’t, and they withdraw my acceptance, my mom will actually KILL ME. You know, if the stress doesn’t kill me first. And its BEEN killing me.
