Background: Spike was ChibiFangirl’s lover but he was “killed off” by Pein in the Digital Circus mythos back in 2016. In other words, he was never actually dead, but during an episode of ChibiFangirl reviews, Pein had requested that Spike film.a scene separately that would kill him off. Everyone else thinks he was dead when the reality is he is still in California, completely forgotten about. He plays a major role in Operation Overthrow Pein. Spike is similar to his Buffy counterpart because of his snarky, charming attitude as well as his empathetic, romantic side.

(Spike has been listening to this Discord call for minutes now. Everyone in the call thinks he is dead until he makes his grand appearance, shocking everyone. He asks this in a jovial yet curious voice) And who may this Edgelordess be? (beat, everyone is shocked to find out that Spike is alive, he is upbeat at first) Of course! I'm an action figure. Besides the person who killed me wasn’t even real. I’m surprised no one to you this... (his voice becomes bitter) then again that is Pein for ya.
(he somberly reflects his “death” scene from years ago) In that episode where I was supposedly killed, Pein requested that I film my part of the episode separately. (a bit salty) I wasn’t sure why. But whenever I’d ask, he wouldn’t give me a straight answer. (he sighs, as his voice becomes quiet) Then when ChibiFangirl moved to Vermont, I hadn’t heard from Pein ever again. That bastard will have to pay for what he did me, you, and my love, ChibiFangirl.
(Everyone in the call sounds defeated as they really don't know how to overthrow Pein. Except Spike says this next line in a rather cunning voice) Oh I have a plan.
