While he’s still the same jolly yellow guy we’re all familiar with, he has more bitterness and rage in him than he ever did before. Enough so that he actually got banned from every Weenie Hut in Bikini Bottom and Goofy Goober’s Ice Cream Boat for being a drunken mess. Before encountering Isabelle and Doomguy, the only places he could even go to were an abandoned ship he moved into not long after his house was repossessed and the Salty Spitoon. Since there aren’t any fry cooking jobs available and SpongeBob has started using more violent means of sorting out his aggression, he has started taking up mercenary work under the advice of his fellow Salty Spitoon customers.
