Mark Collins for Churchman Cole
Cole is the Churchman of the town Bogman lives in. he is one of the few that knows where Bogman has come from. He intends to use Bogman and his abilities to maintain his control on the townsfolk.
Cole is greedy and power hungry. He uses Bogman like a trained dog and has no regrets when things go wrong. He uses his religious authority to convince Bogman that what he is doing is right. voice should be menacing and cold.
preaching and condescending: "all things have their balance in life. only fools fail to see that. Fear is countered by god. Arrogance by humility and disloyalty.... well, thats where you come in"
manipulative: "I saw you there on the church floor, gasping and mud covered... a monstrosity. But did I turn you away? smite you as the book would demand? no. I took you in and made you human, made you one of us. was that a mistake?"
guilting: "I am sorry, I have been too harsh on you. I know you do your best. perhaps I am at fault for trusting you with such a delicate issue"
