Vaike is a self-proclaimed rival of Chrom and a member of the Shepherds. He aspires to become "a warrior among warriors", and is always eager to seek challengers to prove his might.
Vaike possesses an abnormally inflated ego, a fact that is bolstered by him constantly referring to himself as Teach (俺様 Ore-sama, lit. The Great Me in the Japanese version). Often times, this ego of his is unjustified, as its constant overclouding of his judgment sees him incapable of comprehending why things never quite go the way that he envisions. Such instances include him getting confused when Sullyreceives more gifts from women than he does, alongside Tharja obsessing over Robin and not him.
Clearly befitting the archetypal mold of the man in possession of more brawn than brains, Vaike seeks to fulfill the purpose of strengthening himself and thereafter becoming the greatest fighter in the entire world. This ambition of his is, however, offset by his forgetfulness, being considered the best at misplacing things in the army, as evident from his misplacing his weapon in Chapter 2, alongside failing to remember to relay vital information to other members of the army.
(Nervously) “E-eh? Me? Up to? Nothin’! Ha ha! Yessir, just a whooole lotta nothin’.” (Deflecting) “Ooooh, lookie there! Pretty flowers! I sure do love me a pretty flower, don’t you? (nervous laughter)”
(Jokingly) “Whoa! Hold on now, don’t be hasty!” (Encouraging) “I mean, sure, when ya first got here, ya wouldn’t even look at us normal folk-“ (annoyed/after being interrupted) “Now, see, there it is again. And just when I was startin’ to think better of ya.”
(Warmly/excited) “This has gotta be the first time I’ve ever rated someone else first! Is this... love? The Vaike is STUNNED!”
After listening back to this audition I noticed that I was kinda missing the Vaike confidence in a few of the takes where it would show. Is there a chance I could submit a second audition with improvement? This is my first time doing this sort of thing so I am unfamiliar with the standard procedures.

First I wanna say thanks for getting back to me, no worries about having to take time though, I know life can be a bit hectic and busy so I definitely understand. That said though it really means a lot that you liked my audition and I guess what I would want to ask is where you as the director think Vaike should be? I would be more than happy to replicate this audition with a few adjustments to try and emulate his more confident side but I was curious if you had any other gripes that you would want to see adjusted as well?
