PROJECT INFO 

This is a recreation of the first few scenes in Madagascar for my music technology project. The idea of the project is that we take a pre existing movie scene, remove all the audio, rewrite the scene and then replace it with audio of our own whilst describing all the creative changes to the script and audio made. Apparently changing the genders of the characters counts as a creative difference so I am looking for a female to play this part. I decided on the grand central station scene as I think I could really play around with the audio effects during the hallucination scene after Alex is shot with a dart. I have included a few lines to audition for the role and thank you so much for helping me out! Good luck! 

DIRECTION - LINE 1 

Exactly what it says on the tin! Just sound energetic. 

DIRECTION - LINE 2 

Since this is the line where she gets shot with the tranquilizer I feel like this line is best left undirected. Your idea of this line may be that she'd sound super tired and would struggle getting words out or super drunk with her slurring through all of her sentences or maybe even somewhere in the middle. Honestly I'd love to hear your own interpretation here as this is definitely the scene where you can get really creative on how you portray the character and play around with your voice. Go nuts and have lots of fun with this one and remember, The crazier the better!

DIRECTION - LINE 3

 This is to test singing as there is a few lines of that in the script. I changed all of the lyrics to fit the scene better (I had to change them anyway). Now, You don't have to be a great singer (It might actually benefit you more if you're not)! this is during the hallucination scene and should sound like someone hammered at a party attempting to sing karaoke.
