Cynthia is very interested in mythology and history, and spends her time researching and exploring various sites associated with Legendary Pokémon of the Sinnoh region. Her family lives in Celestic Town, although her own hometown was not mentioned. She is implied to have helped Professor Rowan with his Pokédex and embarked on an adventure as a child, similar to the player. Cynthia is widely considered to be one of if not the strongest champion of any region, and it shows in her battling style and attitude, she has few weaknesses if any and never backs down from a confrontation. However recently she was dethroned by a special trainer, but this has not hampered her abilities or perspective as she continues to be one of the strongest trainers in the Pokémon world.
