Mercury is a former street dealer, always looking for a quick buck and always running at the first sign of danger, he joined team Neo-Galactic because he thought he could use their reputation as a defense. He wormed his way up the ranks with his silver tongue and hardy Pokémon, he is a bully, always taking an opportunity to abuse someone weaker than him but will scrape and bow to anyone of higher authority. For his voice and tone I'm looking for a kind of Jerry Jewell pitch, think of his role as Barry the chopper in FMA or FMAB for reference.
(speaking down to the grunts under him) "you worthless pawns, work faster or you're dead. Hell, I'll beat ya if I feel like it."
(sucking up to Gaia) "Oh my glorious leader, my Pokémon are your tools of conquest, use them as you will"
(Talking to the players) "I did not kiss the feet of all my superiors to get this position just to lose to some unknown upstarts."
