In this particular song he serves as the main antagonist for the second half of the first season, to take revenge on Rapunzel for ignoring his cry for help to save his father. THE FIRST LINE IS SPEAKING SO JUST SPEAK HAHA. He only says one line is this song, so that’s why it’s with the singing bit. Some other characters are like this as well.
