Eli is the son of Lord Evelyn. Since his father died when Eli was small he doesn’t know all that much about him. Lord Theo offered to arrange a marriage between Eli and his daughter but Eli rejected the offer feeling uncomfortable marrying someone he’s never personally met or even know anything about. After meeting and getting to know Melody he slowly starts to generally fall in love with her.
{In a frustrated tone} “Ugh I just...I hate how this is all because I turned down the marriage proposal. I know I did the right then but…*sighs* I just hate that I can’t do anything to help my people.”
{In a casual tone} “Well you two sure are out and about rather early.”
{In a shocked tone} “Wh-what? That c-can’t be, can it?”
