After he got beaten by bears as kid, he started hating all animals, knowing they can't understand each other ever again. Due to his disdain for animals, Jin appears to be bitter and someone who is easily annoyed by the wild and noisy behaviour of animals, making crude and insensitive comments regardless of the opinion of others most of the time. However, deep down he is a good person, although he has not shown his behaviour with humans other than Hitomi.
I just stumbled across a puppy that was being picked on, and I thought I’d help her out…but I ended up being beaten to a pulp by those bears. I’ve hated any and all animals ever since. Then that stupid dog started licking my wounds, even though I told her to stop. That’s when I knew I’d never share an understanding with animals. I never thought I’d run into that mutt again.
A horse, huh? Zebras are donkeys! They’re not exactly the same, but zebras are more related to donkeys than horses. Horses get along with any and all humans, but zebras hate humans with a passion. Also, they communicate by barking.
What made me decide to join her pack? I’d rather not get involved with any animals if I don’t have to. But I guess I don’t hate her…that much.
