Fire Emblem Awakening - Support Conversations FANDUB (Round 2 Casting)
The VA Battery for Lon’qu
Voice actor: Travis Willingham
Lon'qu resides in Regna Ferox, but was born in Chon'sin. His supports reveal that he lived in the slums as a child, and that his first friend was a young girl his age named Ke'ri. However, Ke'ri was killed by bandits and her parents blamed him for her death, though later in his conversations with Cherche, he learns that Ke'ri's parents no longer hate him for her death, and have forgiven him.
Having a cool personality and tending to keep things to himself, Lon'qu possesses a direct and somewhat unwieldy way of talking, likely from his lack of social grace or his foreign origins of Chon'sin.
Due to the events in his childhood involving Ke'ri, Lon'qu developed gynophobia out of fear of having another woman who becomes too close to him get killed. As a result, he often gets nervous when speaking with female members of the army; his Event Tile conversations with a female member also support this. It does not trigger around animals or statues bearing feminine looks. He is able to suppress these feelings if he is assigned as a bodyguard as shown with Lissa, in life-and-death situations, and his spouse if he has one.
(Slightly dismissive) “...I am no teacher. Besides, you are of Ylisse (ee-lease). The knights of your people have their own style. You would be better served learning from Frederick.”
(Sadly) “Thank you for delivering the message... It is... good to be forgiven. And yet, I doubt this wound can ever truly heal.”
(Slightly flustered) “I... DO have feelings for...” (under his breath) “Gods... must all these emotions be so vexing?”
