Lost and alone in this new world, he was saved from drowning in a pool by Chris Thorndyke, and the kind youngster allowed the heroes to take refuge at his mansion home as they defended their new residence from the evil plots of Dr. Eggman. After many adventures, Sonic eventually returned home, where he would save his universe from the Metarex.
