The king has been chosen to be the judge for his son's trial, although it's difficult to determine if he really believes Asriel is guilty or not. He has kind of a deep voice, so if you can manage that, try it.

Hmm... I never thought of it that way. I wasn't prepared for something like this, but I guess I will give the opening statement instead.
It seems a verdict at this point would be very premature. Therefore, this trial will be suspended until the following day. The prosecution and defense will look into these matters that have been brought up. We will reconvene tomorrow. Court is adjourned!
