Penny Chapelle is the daughter of Richard Chapelle, a former mob boss who has since settled down and created a resistance to combat the horrific society that has plagued Calacity. Penny is a bookworm and proud of it. She loves the idea of gaining more knowledge to help both herself but the ones she loves. While she may be a very intelligent young lady, she is not a very good cook. She is best friends with Zephyr, and over the years she has developed a crush on him. She doesn't like to show these feelings but has trouble holding it in.
Penny has a loving voice but when upset can be very threatening. She is very detail-oriented and her emotions are almost always prevalent in her tone.
