You will be one of many, many singers in the song. Imagine being in a large crowd (Before or after Covid) and singing along with a whole stadium full of other people, clapping along and having the time of your life!

  • (Listen to Upside Down by Jack Johnson. You may have heard it before in the original Curious George film. You will be singing the last chorus of the cover, following these lyrics.)

    Upside Down,

I'll find the things they say just can't be found,

I'll share this love I find with everyone,

We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's song,

I don't want this feeling to go all-

    Upside Down,

I'll find the things they say just can't be found,

I'll share this love I find with everyone,

Who's to say what's impossible and can't be found,

I don't want this feeling to go away...

  • (There is also a "break-it-down" section in the cover, where it's a bunch of percussions, stomping, and clapping. This is your freestyle moment! Own it, and show me what you've got [cheers, rides, riffs, etc.]!)

Hello, Dart! Thank you for auditioning for the song! I give three things when commenting on auditions: Pros (Things I Liked), Cons (Constructive Criticism), and Result (Yes Or No to Your Audition). Pros: I love your voice. You have such a rich, clean, and solid tone, and your microphone quality compliments it a lot. You have spirit and soul with your audition. There's a lot of energy that I can feel from you, and that's one of the things that stands out to me the most. I'm very happy with your audition. Criticism: You do have trouble with notes throughout, but for this project specifically, it's meant to sound like a room full of people all singing along and having fun. So, realistically, the notes aren't of as much importance if they're not 100% on point. I will say, though, that while there are notes you sang that aren't in the melody, they didn't sound terrible either. It gave your audition an original feeling, and it sounds like you put your own spin on the chorus. Which can be a good thing, if that makes sense. It would give the song as a whole, more variety in the voices and more spice, or flavor. Result: My answer is yes, I would love to have you in the song. We are running a little tight on schedule, looking to finish it all by November 30th, but we'll contact by email to discuss more details. Thank you again for auditioning. Well done!
