The previous explorer has a native UK accent. They lived at an unspecified time in the past. They are generally confused about their situation, and are discovering/exploring the strange place they are in with a sense of wonder and frustration.
Perhaps they dropped the other key down this pit? Should I climb down here? No… no, that’s a bad idea.
Ah, yes, I see what happened. I removed the chest I was in from the room which I entered it from, so when I tried to leave that chest, the illusion broke and I've ended up in this… area.
I thought of doing several alternate voices, but I ended up settling on this one because it sounded far less forced. I hope you Like it. Try skipping towards the end. I had to get used to the voice, so the end sounds slightly better.

My voice is naturally deeper, so I could re-record with a deeper voice, or I can try sounding older. Let me know if I should try anything else.
