Clay is the Medicine Cat of Briarclan. He's a very even tempered cat who, while not always the brightest, has a wide knowledge of herbs, and gives good advice when needed. While he believes in and respects Starclan, he's also well aware that one's Warrior ancestors are just as fallible in death as they are in life, and their guidance should be taken just as that.
Clay's voice is a deep baritone. He speaks evenly and slowly, and seldom raises his voice for any reason.
(Introducing himself to Briarclan for the first time) "Uh, Clay. My name is Clay. I was told you were in need of a healer, and uh... I also had a dream telling me to help the cats of the briar, so... here I am."
(Reassuring, helping a cat who's just given birth) "Take it easy. You're alright. You're lucky I was close by. It looks like your kitting really took a lot out of you. The kit's a bit weak, but they're gonna be fine, and so are you."
"At the Moonspring, huh? That sounds nice. It sounds interesting... I have no idea where that is."
