When it comes to military service, it's ran in Wallace's (or as his close friends know him: "Wally") family since the Spanish War (a fact that somehow hasn't been lost to the hellscape of time itself). Unlike his father, grandfather and great-grandfather--all of whom were infantrymen-- Wallace was accepted into the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. His most "famous" mission involved a stolen Phantom...one in which he piloted directly into a Covenant CCS Battlecruiser.

Wally has kept some of his better traits from his days as a ranch-hand; calm, cool, and (sometimes) collected. He has a rugged voice, as well as a light Texan drawl.
Listen, I ain't got that much of a grudge against the Covenant, really. Hell...when I managed to survive New Mombasa, my drinking buddy was some Sangheili Zealot with five missing teeth and a blind-eye. Never knew his name, but damn I ain't ever seen nobody go through fifteen bottles of jack like that!
So...uhh...yeah, that was my last bullet. As much as I'd love to pull an ammo box out of thin air and hear "oh, wow, Wally--you've saved us from the awful brutes behind those doors!" and get a gold star, I ain't got shit.
