In this adaptation, Zelda is implied to be Link’s childhood friend. For the very characteristically small amount of time she’s present in the story, she initially seems gentle yet a bit immature, though when Vaati attacks at the martial arts tournament and she reveals her power, her personality switches and she becomes much more stoic. And then she disappears from the next 80% of the story needing to be saved because She’s Zelda ™️ and it’s kind of a character trait of hers at this point.

VOICE: Similar to Link, picture if Wind Waker Zelda’s grunts were expanded into full voice lines. That is to say, go for a slightly higher pitched, very theatric voice with big emphasis on pronunciation.
