Ted is the polar opposite of Chris, layed back and just keeps to himself. He is normally mellow and chill. But he is also abit of a depressed spirit but hides it as best he can. Ted hides it by being a smart ass, poles jokes and is at times sarcastic. But in some scenarios, he can be serious or just straight up.

Not bad, but let's try less expression. Ted is a mellow character. I'm diggin the literal "acting" in your voice though. You are portraying expression, which is okay, but not for this character. Lets try another take and if it's right, you got the part. (Try to see the comic, through the link)
