Scarlet is a very emotional character. In this episode specifically, she's aggressive, desperate and feels defeated. So these will be the emotions I'll be basing my criteria on for judging.

I'm looking for a mid to low range voice. I guess for a voice reference, maybe a younger version of Maryke Hendrikse's portrayal of Revy from Black Lagoon which can be heard here https://youtu.be/0cyLyJTWpzc but I'm open to interpretation.

You can audition regardless of your identification but keep in mind Scarlet is a woman. 

  • (Say this very aggressively. She's very pissed off at this point)
    "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!?!?!" 

  • (Sound defeated) "I can't beat him." "I need to run!"(Sound panicked and throw in some running efforts sounds. Don't over do it. Kind of blend them into the line)

  • (Dark. Thinking. Sad.) "Is it really going to end like this?"
