Scheming and conniving, Kiyo is the kind of character who you don't want to cross. While he pretends to act as an ally of the main group, in reality he is a master manipulator who looks down on humans and those who side with them. He often is able to manipulate events to his liking, in such a way that leaves those he manipulated feeling hurt and betrayed by his actions. Think the "magnificent bastard" character archetype, if you're familiar with that. In the context of this scene he has just betrayed the main protagonists of the story and revealed his true intentions. I would recommend a more dignified or snobbish tone of voice with this character, though if you see another type of voice as better for this character, feel free to use that voice. Kiyo is the oldest character in this scene, likely late 20's or early 30's in terms of age.
Now do you see what I was talking about? These humans care nothing for us. Their lives are as worthless as the dirt they stand on. Their lives are finite, while we live on forever. So they fear us and attack us and regulate us in a futile attempt to minimize our impact on this world. They all deserve to die, as our ancestors did. It's what they would have wanted.
