Hi! I’m Adam Watson. I was born in Sunderland, England, to English parents. I have a brother, a smattering of other relatives, and a healthy love of storytelling and writing, NASA, and being a Nerd. Ever since I was a child I have enjoyed the creative arts, whether it's in pursuit of finally
finishing a Novel of my own, or Voice acting.
I've been fortunate in life; I've had the chance to pursue my dreams: I’ve ran and DJ’d on my own internet Radio station podcast, I’ve met the woman of my dreams and moved to the United States to marry her and raise a daughter of our own.
I’ve written stories since I was old enough to hold a pencil, but I first came to voice acting during my first stint in radio broadcasting; to this day, I enjoy narrating stories I’ve written for my listeners, but I have turned that particular hobby into a career, producing professional and high-quality audiobooks for Audible and iTunes (largely through the ACX platform) encompassing diverse characters, each requiring their own distinct voice and ranging from a single, storytelling narration to ensemble casts of over 25 unique accents and dialects.
Among the authors I have had the privilege of working with are Rick Incorvia, L.A. Di Paolo, Darla Beck, J.D. Fisher and Tina Glasneck.
I’ve also provided liners for commercials across television and radio formats, and I am a regular voiceover contributor to the Trek Central YouTube channel, a relatively new Star Trek Fan Community that has over 50000 followers.
I enjoy honing my mind and creativity in all endeavors, whether it's indulging in my hobby of Magic: The Gathering, reading with my daughter, playing video games or vigorously studying and practicing to add a new talent to my ever-expanding list of available accents (i’ve received praise for my Amharic, American, Patriarchal British elder, Natural enthralling storytelling and even adult female sorceress, among others).
Life ever offers a greater challenge, and I enjoy seeking out and conquering those challenges.
