My name is Owen Weick and I'm interested in a career in Voice Acting! Some people like to call me by my alias's Red or Mace, you can call me whichever you prefer. As well as voice acting, In the past I've been a soccer coach for a high school team down by where I live for about two years at my school before graduating and maintaining two jobs as a retail employee and a freelance author. I’ve also been writing poems some of my own short story’s to pass the time, and been on this website voice acting for multiple successful years of V.A experience. With the beginning of 2024 I am inspiring to become an entertainer online with streaming other various online platforms and in person as a planner. When it comes to big events I have a history of moderating several as a staff member in multiple discord servers and being an overall likeable person that can provide a very healthy and friendly atmosphere to the projects I am a part of. I prioritize one project at a time so my intention is finishing it before moving on to the next no matter how long the development cycle is. As 2024 comes to an end, I've been promoted to moderating the main discord server with 20,000 active viewers for a group of youtubers called 'Party crashers'. In that server, whenever I am not recording lines, I am there helping to support the community anyway I can.
I'll audition for any series I'm interested in and I strive to get even better! At the end of the day, I'm doing this mostly for fun and to socialize with others but if the opportunity comes up where I get accepted into a project I will pour all my time into that project until it is finished! I will occasionally audition for paid roles, but by no means is it my priority as my own enjoyment and proper dedication to being a part of the project is a factor. I am a 22 year old male that has experience doing english, southern, british, and some scottish accents. I specialize in high to middle voices for the timid, confident, light hearted, childlike, calm or purely energetic characters. I can also do very expressive and loud tones in my voice to capture rage or aggression as I am not foreign to raising my voice to convey the anger in my voice if needed. On the other end, i'm capable of crying on command to convey true sadness. If a strong emotion is required I guarantee I am able to do it
Despite these specific specialties, I will adapt to whatever feedback is given to me and will adjust to any role that I have auditioned for or was casted as. I encourage this as it helps me grow and allow me to see what I am and not good at, allowing me to grow as a voice actor. Asking and answering questions often helps communicate the vision and motivation set for the character so I may better play the role I may be given.
If it is within my voice range I will do any type of voice that is assigned to me as long as it isn't explicitly inappropriate. Swearing, inappropriate jokes or implications, and very serious moments with loud voices and violence are completely ok.
