Marie Willburne, the wife of Henry Willburne, is one of the many people living in the Willburne mansion. She is a blonde, middle-aged woman, presumably in her forties. She was the one who wrote the letter to the Adley detective agency and has been the only one who saw the monster before the Adley brothers arrived. She's a kind, beautiful woman that radiates with an aura of purity.
[Welcoming the Adley brothers] Oh, greetings. You must be the detectives from the agency. It is truly a pleasure to meet you
[Describing her encounter with the monster.] (In a low, scared voice) I was the first one to see it. I woke up in the middle of the night to grab a glass of water. I made my way down the hallway to get to the stairs and...that's when I saw it. A tall, slender figure walking around the main room. It had no eyes, nose, or ears...but it had a terrifyingly long mouth. It was so long that it stretched to the back of its head. That's when I decided to contact you...
