Anna is a "mender" in her forties working at the medical clinic in BethEl. When Rachel wakes up after the car accident, Anna is the first to talk to her and is calm and reassuring.
NOTE: The person cast as Anna will also be expected to voice some minor roles with variations in tone. Please also audition for the Minor Female Roles.

We call it the Clinic, but yes, you are in a medical facility. I have a few questions for you. We can try to answer them now if you feel up to it.
(reassuring)
Ah, there. You see? Your voice is already coming back to you. It’s nice to meet you, Rachel. My name is Anna. I am one of the Menders. We have a whole team of Healers, Menders, and Intercessors who are caring for you.
(calmly giving facts)
Listen, Rachel. You were in an automobile accident. You were thrown from the vehicle. You’ve experienced severe head trauma and have multiple wounds and lacerations all over your body, including one very large abdominal wound. You lost a lot of blood and have been in and out of consciousness for three days.
