aven Winter is a strong, adventurous woman that was outcasted by her town for having magical powers (she is a witch) because of this she lives in a cave with younger kids who were also outcasted. Although she loves them, she also has a deep hatred for magic since that was how she was raised (slowly the kids that live with her show her that there's nothing wrong with magic or magical creatures).
