Seeker for Francis
Francis is an African American man about 70 years old. He is wise, calm, deliberate, but also a little quirky. He has a rich, deep baritone voice and is a natural storyteller. Francis is one of the leaders of BethEl. Although he is not the main character of the book, his long explanations give him the most lines of any character. This makes his voice extremely important. If you are auditioning for the role, think a Morgan Freeman-like voice (not an imitation but a similar tone). An African American voice actor is preferred.

Before humans walked upon the face of the earth - in fact, before the earth was created, Yahweh created a beautiful Spiritual Realm—a lush garden-like land high upon a mountaintop. It was his dwelling place. The expanse of this creation reached into the farthest recesses of the deepest galaxies and universes. It was a land of harmony and peace. The entire realm was created by the power of Yahweh’s spoken word. His utterances erected a great city, a Kingdom, and formed into existence a vast countryside with a majestic palace, a temple where he dwelled. But as you know, Yahweh is a God of love. It’s not just an attribute of his character; as the Three in One, it is his identity. So, he created beings to love.
