The Baron is larger than life AND death! As an apostle of The God Hand, he has a demonic strength and is nye unkillable by standard means. With such invulnerability, he is incredibly vain and obsessed with his image as an apex predator amongst mere prey (humans). A *kind of* campy villain voice would be perfect this guy, he has a huge presence and it must be reflected in the performance.
(mocking) It’s always a treat to have an old
fart like you at the table. How have
you been?... Minister.
Well here’s a challenge, SURPRISE ATTACK! (The Baron rushes Guts on horseback, knocking him over.)
With zealous pride) OLDEST TRICK IN THE BOOK!
(equivocating) You’re no man any more than I.
You’re more akin to a beast.
