ABOUT ME
My name is Al and I'm an actor and singer living in Ohio. My life's passion has always been the theater and I have grown up in plays and musicals all my life.
I am currently studying opera and classical music at my university. I am a mezzo-soprano and enjoy genres like opera, jazz, folk/indie, and musical theater.
I have only recently started dipping my toes in the world of voice acting, but I am enjoying it immensely.
WORK STYLE
I am someone who thrives off of clear communication and loves to be challenged with specific and sometimes oddball directions. I take direction very well as I am able to adapt and grow through a director's image organically. I am not afraid of clarification and I handle constructive criticism and feedback extremely well.
Honestly, being told "No that's completely wrong, please do it again," is music to my ears. I believe that as a voice actor and performer, trial and error is a necessary process in order to get to a good product. I am not afraid of the grit work.
INTERESTS
I love all things fantasy and sci-fi. Any projects that are nerdy, I'm immediately hooked. Of course, opera and musical theater are passions of mine.
I am really hoping to work on an animation project because I am working on one of my own and want to experience it as a VA before hiring my own team.
