VOICE ACTING:
I am a beginning voice actor who can replicate most basic cartoon voices. I've played characters such as The Mad Hatter, and Captain Hook, and have begun developing voices for Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, Luigi, Shadow the Hedgehog, Dr. Eggman, and others! I can also do several different accents, including New Yorker, Cockney, British, Irish/Scottish, Southern, and Semi-Hispanic. I can also do several standard voices, such as "Show-Host," "Old Man," "Henchman," "Nerd," and others! I pride myself on my ability to adapt to any voice that is given to me, and am happy to test out impressions I have never attempted.
SINGER:
I have a standard baritone range, which essentially means I can't sing as high as a tenor, or as low as a bass, but I CAN sing higher than most basses and lower than most tenors. I have starred in several musicals, playing characters such as Mr. Thenardier (Les Mis), Benjamin (Joseph and the Amazing...), and Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid).
DIRECTING AND WRITING:
I have written an entire musical, nearly from scratch, and have directed said musical for over half a year. I've been a camp counselor at a musical camp, and have also done tech for musicals as well. While in many instances I prefer being a contributing actor rather than a leader, I can still lead.
ARTIST AND ANIMATOR:
I run a YouTube channel known as JJ Prince, and for a short while, I was an animator and created little animation segments around 5 minutes apiece, which received generally positive reviews. Due to the strain of consistent posting, I returned to my regular YouTube format, but I am still open to the occasional animation gig.
