*Merek perks up and gets closer to the door*

Paxtin: A royal and a peasant? It’s not right. Can you imagine being friends with the servants? He even tried teaching her to read! A commoner and a princess trying to read! 

Paxtin: I'm not a huge fan of these events either. 

Penelope: *now lightening up* Yeah, right? They're boring and filled with stuck up noblemen attempting to break free from their demeaning lives. 

Paxtin: Yikes. Honestly, I would rather be reading right now. 

Penelope: Really? What do you like to read?
