Apple Bloom is the younger sister of both Big Macintosh and Applejack, as well as granddaughter of Granny Smith. She is a member of the very large Apple Family. She lives at Sweet Apple Acres with the rest of her family. In her age group, she is one few remaining fillies to not have a Cutie Mark. In the episode Call of the Cutie, at the end she becomes friends with 2 girls who don't have their cutie marks.  One is a Pegasus named Scootaloo and the other is a Unicorn named Sweetie Belle.  These 3 create the Cutie Mark Crusaders in hopes of finding out what their Cutie Marks are.
