[a little hammy, although less trying to convince Bon Bon and more egging the hyoo-man on]
“Come on, Bonners, you perfect mare. Give the big guy a chance,”
Lyra said. “He’s a nice stallion. He really likes hooves too.”[impressed by her wife's sudden display of acrobatic violence]
“That was… AWESOME, hon!”
[after Bon Bon gives in, sort of]
“You’re a big ol’ softie if I’ve ever seen one,” she said, kissing her cheek.
