While Subaru tends to not read the situations he encounters, ultimately leading him to make irrational decisions, he is loyal to those he holds dear, willing to help them, even if that means taking the thorny path. He has his resolve confirmed through the many situations and circumstances he faces in the fantasy world, originally having been one to always take the 'easy' route. As a shut-in NEET, he is hopeful of the possibilities that being sucked into a new realm brings, but later realizes the realities of the predicament he is in. Eventually, he resolves himself to be faithful and protective of the ones that he cares most about.

Mind the slight accent, your timbre, and thus overall take, reminds me of Xander Mobus as Joker (persona 5).
Haha yeah, I was aiming for something along the lines of a Joker's voice but with the bombastic but emotionally fragile personality of Subaru. However I can manage to do higher pitched voices if that's what the project calls for. I appreciate the feedback though, thank you.
I wasn't calling you out or anything, just admiring the sound of your voice (I really like Xander Mobus and deep to mid-deep voices)
No worries, I didn’t think ya were. :) Thank you for the kind words though, I’m a huge fan of Xander as well and he’s one of my inspirations to pursue voice acting.
