I will never forget the day when my cat became a life-sucking portal to disaster and tore up my room.
“Where am I?” I groaned. Typically that’s the first thing someone says in this sort of situation, so sorry for not mixing it up.
My stomach did a back flip. I still felt like there was motion in the room. Peering through the rubble, I desperately sought out an answer. Just then, I found the source. Staring arrows at me from under the bed, Rory hissed at me. Rory was usually a calm and kind cat, with her dark blue fur and her some-what creepy yellow eyes. She was old and had been with us before my father passed.
Great audition! I like your calm, casual narrator voice. Thank you for trying it with the more American accent. I'm assuming your first accent is your own, and I think the first one sounds more natural. Overall, awesome job!
Yeah the first one was my british accent, which was pretty much just me, and then I knew people preferred the whole american thing in these matters so I decided to throw it in. Glad you liked it!
