Joanne isn't a person of many words. Nor is she a complete person. She's a werewolf who usually keeps to herself, but once you meet her you find out she can crack some jokes.

When I was younger, almost a century ago by now, we held a festival in the name of Ghorte, the then goddess of winter. It was widely accepted that we would come together to sacrifice pigs and lambs in her name. She wasn’t satisfied with what we offered, so she sent one of her holy wolves to feast on one of us.
