Emi Hisakawa is the Ultimate Marine Biologist. Emi hails from Okinawa, Japan, and the sprawling beaches of her home inspired her to start learning marine biology from a young age. By age ten, she was renowned across the country for her amazing skill with animals, and her efforts towards ocean habitat conservation. At the start of Danganronpa: FF, Emi has no memories of her school life at Hope's Future.

Emi is bubbly, friendly, and full of energy. Her entire life is devoted to making the environment a better place, and she can't imagine what a world without all the creatures of the sea she loves so much. Emi has been described as a ditz, and is ignorant to the frequent advances made upon her by guys, but in the end, she means well, and she wants to be as helpful as she can be.

Emi's voice should be fairly high pitched, and have a slight twang of a valley girl accent but not overly so. She expresses extreme emotional variety over the course of the killing game, so her voice actor will need to be able to convey strong emotion well.
