Azami Ishibashi is the Ultimate Botanist. At the age of 15, Azami entered a botany competition with her hybrid of Corpse Flower and Devil's Tongue, which she called Devil's Corpse. She won first place, and received recognition from botany organizations all around the country. Her true passion is science, and her victory in this competition earned her a respected spot in the biologic sector of the Japanese science world. At the start of Danganronpa: FF, Azami has no memories of her school life at Hope's Future.

Azami appears to be a shy and quiet type, but in reality has no reservations. She has strong opinions, and will speak her mind whenever she wants. She can be very rude and condescending to some, as she believes she is smarter and better than them, but the rare few who manage to reach her level are welcomed with open arms into her passionate world of education and discovery.

There is no voice preference for Azami. As long as her voice actor can convey strong emotion, anger, and passion, we are open to a variety of voices for this character.
