Hattie grew up in a very wealthy home due to being in the council. She loved her family but they always smothered her with love and affection. So she decided to move into the dorms at Dragon Wing when her house is a reasonable walk away. She was desperate for independence. She's always been somewhat of a hopeless romantic and wants a family of her home. She's the best at seeing the good in people which makes her pretty gullible. Though she is very smart when it comes to magic.
